Hello! In an ideal world, you'd be listening to the tracks included here as you
experience the first public stage of Aperture of Corruption, as the developers
and I originally intended. However, replacing a game's entire sound engine and
music has proven to be a difficult and lengthy task, and we simply didn't have
the time or resources to finish it in time for the demo's release.
Rather than keeping people waiting even longer to see the first 'true' demo,
we've elected to give you a taste of what the finished version of Aperture of
Corruption should sound like in the form of this small soundtrack release, for
you to peruse to at your own discretion (try listening to it as you play!).

For these new tracks, I aimed to accent the hack's technologically-advanced
setting by combining the beloved NES Castlevania sound with elements from newer
musical styles and modern chiptune techniques, all aided by the addition of two
extra sound channels courtesy of the MMC5 mapper.
Once the music is implemented in-game, I hope that it complements the game's new
art direction nicely, giving players an aesthetic experience previously
unexplored by the series.

If you enjoy what you hear and want to help move this music into the ROM itself,
please don't hesitate to let the developers know - anyone with strong 6502
knowledge and a willingness to dedicate time to music hacking is welcome on the team.
